Dwarf Sour Cherries (Prunus cerasus L.)
The University of Saskatchewan has bred the dwarf sour cherry specifically for the Prairies. They posses the following attributes:

Exceptional cold hardiness - A “dwarf” growing habit to enable mechanized harvest and ease of orchard maintenance
- A superior flavor and quality suitable for both the family fruit bowl and processing application
- By year 4, plants are well established and producing fruit.
